To apply for a position with Children's Hope you will need:

      • Completed Application
      • Copy of Drivers License or State Issued ID
      • Original Social Secuirty Card
      • GED, High School Transcript, and/or College Transcript
      • Interview with Children's Hope Human Resources staff person
      • Background Check
      • Finger Prints


EMPLOYMENT TRAINING

Orientation consists of various training segments over a five day period. During orientation some topics that will be covered include (and are not limited to):

      • DFPS Licensing and Monitoring Standards
      • Clients rights and employee responsibility in reporting abuse and neglect
      • Therapeutic boundaries
      • Employee handbook review
      • Policy manual review
      • Medication and diabetic training
      • Universal precautions
      • Civil rights
      • Cultural awarness
      • Company fire response plan
      • Disaster and emergency plan.

All employees are expected to complete CPR/First Aide/AED Certification. Any staff working directly with the clients must participate in the SATori Alternatives to Managing Agression (SAMA) certification class.
