The Sulphur Springs and Longview Children’s Hope branches held their annual Christmas party at the Cross Country Cowboy Church in Sulphur Springs. There were over 150 people in attendance despite the weather. Foster families ate from a full taco bar and desserts. The children moved around the party to different stations where they created keepsakes such as ornaments, book marks and bracelets. These keepsakes can be given to others as gifts.

Each foster parent left with a Children’s Hope Ornament as their Christmas gift. Inside the ornament are the names of each foster child they have cared for during the 2018 year. Community members sponsored foster children by purchasing gifts in an effort to help the foster families this Christmas season. These gifts were given to the families to take home for Christmas morning. The Cross Country Cowboy Church made sure every child left the party with an age appropriate bible. The party ended with a surprise visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus along with the opportunity for the families to take photos with them.
